Ginew's Wax Rider Coat is a garment absolutely packed with subtle details and personal history. Inspired by the motorcycle club coat worn by Ginew co-owner Amanda's grandfather in the 50s and 60s, when he would weld for Harley Davidson, these bombproof jackets were designed in his memory.

Cut in a classic type-3 pattern, but left unlined for more ease of wear during the warmer seasons, these feature four exterior pockets, and there's secret embroidery hiding beneath the collar for a subtle extra bit of visual interest. The body has a more athletic fit, sitting close to your person, with additional adjustment tabs at the hem that can be used to create a tapered profile.

They're made from a 10oz waxed US Army duck canvas, a heavy-duty fabric that will resist wind, rain, and just about anything else you can throw at it. Over time, as the wax wears down in specific areas, the body will develop a unique and incredibly handsome patina, while also softening considerably and relaxing with wear.
